Michigan Water Wonderland Winnies
A State Club within the Winnebago Itasca Travelers
Chartered July 9, 1972

As owner’s of Winnebago & Itasca motor homes, we have been sharing adventures and our wanderlust for travel since 1972.  Our diversity allows everyone to feel welcome.  Whether you are working or retired and have children or grandchildren, our primary focus is to have fun enjoying each others company and benefit from a combined Winnebago ownership experience.

Water Wonderland Winnies (WWW) consists of 6 local chapters.  Each local chapter meets one weekend a month to camp together at campgrounds throughout Michigan and nearby states.  Each spring and fall a local chapter hosts a Michigan Campout for a weekend of games, entertainment and fellowship.  Our Michigan State Rally gives us even more opportunities to share the enjoyment that our motor homes provide as we prepare for the Winnebago - Itasca Travelers Grand National Rally (GNR) at Winnebago Industries in Forest City, Iowa.  Check out what's going on in our local chapters by clicking the local chapter link  under Michigan Links, or access the local chapters directly from the local chapter drop down menu at the top of the page.

We are more than a club, we are family.  If you own a Winnebago Industries product we encourage you to join our WWW family, and look forward to including you in enjoying the camaraderie that we find so rewarding.  Check out this website to find out how WWW can enrich your Winnebago lifestyle experience.

Greetings from Florida! I know you’ve had some very frigid weather up there but the last I heard, you’ve had some pretty pleasant days, as well.

This is a very special year for the Water Wonderland Winnies as we are celebrating 40 years as a WIT club.  Along with our national elections we have our own to consider.  All positions are available to anyone interested in filling them.  If you would like to hold an office, you can submit your name at the May outing in St. Louis, Mi.  We really would like to have participation representing most chapters.  There five positions to fill so please give them some serious consideration.

We are also welcoming the Sunnybrook owners to join WIT and come and enjoy our activities this year.  If anyone has any friends who own a Sunnybrook, please be sure to inform them of our upcoming events and invite them to join us.

The fuel prices will make this another challenging year as far as attending our outings and rallies.  The May outing in St. Louis is in the middle of the lower peninsula which is pretty much as good as it gets as far as distance for everyone.  At our June rally in Ludington we will be celebrating our 40th year.  I realize the location will put some at a disadvantage distance wise but it is a great rv park with lots to see in the area.   The owners there are wonderful  to work with and they are charging us the same as last year which is $20.00 a night no matter how many nights you stay.  This helps us keep our rally fee at a reasonable rate and maybe some members would like to make a mini vacation out of it at those rates.  Our fall rally is still being worked on and we will let you know as soon as we do for sure.

I guess that will be it for now.  Will be seeing everyone again before long.  Take care and stay warm.
