Chartered November 11, 1973

So, you bought a Winnebago/Itasca, wise choice!  We, the Motor Cities Winnies (MCW), one of the 6 local Michigan non-profit chapters of the Water Wonderland Winnies, a State Club (WWW), within the Winnebago Itasca Travelers (WIT), would like to extend a warm welcome and an invitation to come join us.

Our local chapter MCW, has members from all around the Metro area and as far away as Ontario, Canada.  Your home location is irrelevant as we camp all over the state.  We plan fun outings, usually once a month (April – November).  We also get involved in the State Club, WWW, outings and on a National level, we are invited to Forest City, Iowa, home of Winnebago, to the Grand National Rally (G.N.R.).

Aside from all the fun and fellowship, WIT offers other benefits such as insurance, group tours, rallies and caravans at great prices, and discounts at hundreds of participating campgrounds.  There are also special interest groups. WIT CLUB NEWS is a magazine sent to club members that keep you informed of what’s going on and a connection with other Winnebago owners like yourself…all over the U.S.

You can become involved as little or as much as you choose.  So, if you want to meet some great people, visit some new campgrounds and have a lot of fun come join us!

Click below to read our MCW Newsletters, and check out our Calendar of Upcoming Events. Give us a call once you’ve looked them over and we’ll reserve a spot for you!!  You are always welcome to any of our campouts!

Looking forward to meeting you.

Come Join Our Motor Cities Winnies Minimize

The Motor Cities Winnies is a Winnebago and Itasca motor home camping club in the metro-Detroit area. We have camping outings monthly during the camping season. Most outings are held in the state, except for the annual Grand National Rally, which is held in Forest City, Iowa. We welcome owners of Itasca’s and Winnebago’s to join us in the fun and fellowship our club has to offer.
